Our Story
Since 2015, Aaron has been the director of his family landscape business A Wright Landscape, Inc.
Services include designing, installing, and maintaining residential and commercial properties in Hot Springs and surrounding areas. His style, born from his British upbringing in Oxford England, is a fusion of English and Japanese style gardening.
Gardening has always been a passion of Aaron’s, growing up in the wide open spaces of English country side as a boy. He began studying with the Royal Horticultural Society in 2009 and began working for the historical Wormsley Park Estate, owned by Lady Getty, in Buckinghamshire, England, training under her Master Gardener. Preserving and maintaining this timeless National Treasure educated Aaron on the value of enhancing the pre-existing landscape of the space and developed his eco-friendly approach to much of his work. In 2011, Aaron moved to the States with his wife and was offered a job in Hot Springs at Garvan Woodland Gardens. There he would serve many roles, including Head of Horticulture, and have the pleasure to work under many great horticulturists that shared Aaron’s love for design, the environment, and Japanese gardening.
Today, Aaron resides in Hot Springs, with his wife and 4 children. Current exciting projects include some of Hot Springs best tourist spots, consulting for Public Gardens, and designing new landscapes in Historic downtown Hot Springs and on the beautiful Lake Hamilton.
Aaron has always opted for the NATURAL APPROACH and ORGANIC GARDENING
In 2017 he started using worm castings for his clients as a source of feed for the plants and soil and saw the tremendous effects….so the journey began. Aaron purchased some worms and started producing worm castings for his clients while using the garden waste from his landscape company as a source of food. Shortly after, he partnered with Bennett’s Recycle company to use plant food waste to diversify the worms’ diets and their byproduct.
This way of worm farming not only saves food waste from being tied in plastic and buried in landfills but it feeds the future by nourishing plants and improving soil structure.
We love being a sustainable, environmentally friendly business and have recently branched out to create Natural State Fertilizer. It all began while searching for the perfect balance of soil amendments and now we offer a selection of earth-friendly products both online and in-store!
